What is street legal LED lights?
Adding extra automotive lights to the vehicles is an easy way to enhance night-time visibility and improve driving safety. If we want to use them on the roads, it is important to make sure the auxiliary lights are compliant with the local regulations in every country. For example, in USA, SAE and DOT are two major authorities set standards regarding supplemental street-legal lighting.
To satisfy SAE standards, auxiliary LED lights need to be with controlled beam patterns, correctly chosen color temperature. Auxiliary driving lamps and auxiliary fog lamps are two general categories.
Our Street Legal 3" Series come in 4 variations of beam options including SAE certified beam patterns:

Yellow lens are optional for auxiliary high beam and auxiliary fog light, perfect for inclement weather like foggy and snowy days. OGA Street Legal Pod Lights are well designed for high performance for different driving conditions.
Why did we launch street legal series?
Not just off-road use. Additional work lights are easily found in the aftermarket, but most of them are only for off-road use. They are not legal to turn on while driving on the road because off-road lights tend to be more powerful than standard lighting applications. They don’t meet SAE or DOT standards for use on the street. It is difficult for us to find street legal or SAE compliant auxiliary LED lamps.
In 2019, OGA we set up a high-level department to develop and engineer street legal series LED products. Now we don’t only offer off road lights. Our SAE approved street legal series 3" cube pod lights are well designed to be used both on and off roads. Our mission is to develop a range of street legal lights that can adapt to every driving and working condition.

3” compact dimensions. These small pod lights are created in very compact dimensions with slim front frame.
Versatile mounting options. 3” pod lights are available for round and flush design. We also provide special fog light mounting brackets for different vehicle models. Our Street Legal SAE 3" Pods can be easily mounted in any position on vehicles, super simple and quick installation!
Advanced TIR projector optics. Our Street Legal 3" Pods come with advanced TIR projector optics to offer more precise and focused illumination, ensuring the light go where we want it to be. Less glare and waste lighting while using. We adopt 5W OSRAM automotive grade OSLON LED chips to achieve high intensity light output on the road from such a small LED automotive lamp.
Quality guaranteed. All of our road-legal or off-road LED products use durable aluminum alloy housing with highly efficient heat dissipation.
